Store energy in an accumulator

Follow these steps in the workbench. Pause playback or slow it down whenever you want a closer look.

  1. Open the accumulator example. AC1 starts with no oil and a 50 bar gauge gas precharge.
  2. Run the 20-second capture. Choose AC1 pressure: it rises while oil compresses the gas.
  3. Move the time cursor and select AC1 to inspect stored oil volume.
  4. Select RV1 in the flow trace. It begins bypassing pump flow once the accumulator approaches the relief setting.
  5. In Sizing → Accumulator, enter the same volume and precharge to compare usable oil between two pressures.

The checklist records your learning progress. It is not an engineering acceptance test.
